LIBRO NGA GIBASA: John 15: 1-27
MENSAHE (RHEMA): John 15:7 -8
John 15:7-8 Kong kamo magapabilin kanako, ug ang akong mga pulong magapabilin kaninyo, managpangayo kamo sa bisan unsang butang nga buot ninyo, ug kini pagabuhaton kaninyo. Dinhi niini ginahimaya ang akong Amahan, aron managpamunga kamo ug daghan; ug kamo matinon-an nako.
PAMALANDONG GIKAN SA MENSAHE O RHEMA:
In the natural world, fruits are the result of a healthy planting. As a believer of Christ, we need to bear much fruits. Galatians 5:22-23 speaks about the fruit of His Spirit and these fruits must sprout to every believers and must be manifested from inward to outward christian life.
John 15:16Jesus told to His disciples ,“I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last” is the same passage he said to every believers. Righteous fruit has eternal benefit.
Jesus told us clearly what we must do to bear good fruit. He said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:4–5). A branch must attach firmly in the trunk. It is the source of its nourishment, and strength to bear much fruit. As a disciple of Christ we should always be attach firmly to Him to remain and be more spiritually productive. When we neglect our spiritual life, ignore the Word of God, skimp on prayer, and withhold areas of our lives from the scrutiny of the Holy Spirit, we are like a branch broken off the vine. Our lives must always be connected to Christ. We need daily surrender, daily communication, and daily—sometimes hourly—repentance and connection with the Holy Spirit in order to “walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16). Staying intimately connected to the True Vine is the only way to “bear fruit in old age” (Psalm 92:14), to “run and not grow weary” (Isaiah 40:31), and to not “grow weary in well-doing” (Galatians 6:9).
The counterfeit of bearing fruits are pretense. We must guard our lives with prayer and meditation of God's words. Always remember, our works will always be tested in fire. Always connected to the true vine , who is Jesus the rewarder of our deeds.
